Aloha, this is Logan!
   Sorry I have not updated for a long time, I'll try better. We're having lots of fun here at our 3rd, and hopefully last, house. We had a great Valentines day, making little envelopes for the Valentine cards. Also, my mom and dad gave us each a big present. For home school we went to the Vanilla farm and saw a real vanilla orchid, learned every thing there is to learn about vanilla, and best of all, had real vanilla bean ice cream! We have a great group of home school families we enjoy getting together with.

     We've had a lot of company over the past few months, we've enjoyed every minute of it! We had fun with Casey puzzling, playing at the beach, and especially piggie back rides! Also our friends Richard and Katie visited for a while and we had lots of fun with them too. The McAllister family came in January, and then the French family came the day they left. We had a BLAST with each family!!!

 The Meier's are coming in less than a week and are staying for about a week. Can't wait! I'm blessed to have all of my family/friends come and visit, even though it's hard to say goodbye, I know I will see them again. I also miss other friends from home but I have new home school friends here!

Have we mentioned we LOVE going to the beach!? We are having so much fun exploring beaches on the island, picking out our favorites to take YOU to when you come visit!=)  Logan A.K.A. Fish Boy (Also first test of our waterproof camera)  Sea cucumbers / snails - a local boy showed the boys how to gently squeeze it & water squirts out like a squirt gun!  Keiki Ponds - right in town...great place for the littles to play & swim!  Wawaloli beach...we actually ran into the same local kid & his dad here! They had a mini sea fishing lesson              All these are from Kua Bay today.  Very nice for Boogieboarding and little girls who eat sand. Oliver is offically not afraid of the ocean anymore and loves to use rocket boosters to beat the waves. Place of refuge

Hi this is Logan, we're having a great time here in Kona looking at beaches, snorkeling, and boogie -boarding. Yesterday, we went to Place of Refuge A.K.A Pu'uhonua o Honaunau.  I got to see a lot of Native Hawaiians houses, temples, and totem poles. There is a very important game they played that is called "Konane"(ko-nah-nay), If any of you want to play here are the rules Setup Try to find a huge flat lava rock and carve 170 (maybe less) tiny craters so it makes a square, then put black and white rocks in the craters (can be different colors). The life of Magnum PA

Aloha- I have been asked to share a little about my experience working as a PA in Hawaii.  I have to thank Luke, my best buddy, for coming up with "Magnum PA".  Unfortunately I don't have a Ferrari...yet- it's just backordered:)  I also don't have nearly as much chest hair as Tom Selleck, to roll out of my unbuttoned shirt which also does not flow in the wind with my make believe Ferrari.  ANYWAY- The clinic is an impressive organization who really have a vision for this surprisingly poor community and actually get things done.  They do more than just talk about it and have lots of meetings- things happen which is very refreshing for me.  Not only have they expanded the clinic building I work in 5x (at least), but also have a pediatric clinic, pediatric dental office, mobile dental van, another clinic opening up north, and a homeless clinic.  It is exciting to be a part of such a dynamic organization.  I had the opportunity to work at th...
