Thankful Thursday...er...Tuesday!

I started this post on Thursday, and here it is Tuesday! Oops! Sorry, this mommy of 4 is crazy busy!

I am choosing to be thankful, though for the past few days I have felt
                                                   sad.
I am really feeling the fact that Hawaii is the most isolated land mass
in the world. I am missing loved ones so much that I just feel
sick sometimes. BUT, as I draw near to God in each moment of pain, He gives me enough strength for today, and hope for tomorrow.
So, I am THANKFUL!

Hello beautiful: Ocean, plants, birds, sunsets, volcano...

Thats the glow from the lava way in the distance

My hero: See that man in the picture above? The tall handsome one with the smile that brightens the world. Yup, he's my hero. In so many ways. Love him more than I did 13 years ago when I said "I do." He's my rock, supporter, inspirer, best friend, comedian, amazing father to our kids... a real keeper ;)

Our friends and family: Absence truly does make the heart grow fonder. We miss our loved ones so much and are so thankful for them. It just makes my day when someone calls or emails me. I can't wait to come home & visit in 30 days!

Our 4 little munchkins: They make me laugh, teach me about myself & life, they are creative & imaginative, they are growing in leaps and bounds in so many ways! There is definately alot more 'getting along'  these days, which I am SOOOO thankful for!

I am truly so blessed! These are just a few.
I am incredibly thankful for our time here in Hawaii. I know God is refining us, all the while letting us enjoy all Hawaii has to offer. I'm excited to see what He has in store and thankful He has a plan and a purpose!

We'll be updating again soon about Grandma & Bubba's visit (we had a wonderful time that seemed too short) , and also about homeschooling (overall, it's going well)! Sorry it's been almost a month since our last post, we promise to be better!
